Me and My Shadow

Me and my shadow
Running through the neighborhood
Just me and my shadow
All alone and feeling good

My shadow, my friend
In front of, or beside me
I look at you and know
That nothing will stop me!

With a smile on my face
Like joy I must share
I find my pace
And I haven't a care

Running is my therapy
Because when doubt creeps in
I just look down and see
My shadow is thin!
